UKOPA :: key issues for 2002 ::

UKOPA is progressing the following key issues during 2002:

Establishment of the UKOPA Fault Database as the recognised source of UK pipeline fault data.
Publication of Predictive Modelling of Pipeline Failures.
The UKOPA Competency Framework Document.
Development of interpretive guidance and ACoP document relating to the proposed amendments to the Pipelines Safety Regulations relating to the testing and charging of pipeline emergency plans.
Organisation of PERO Update Training Courses.
The development of risk based land use planning consultation zones for all pipelines, through the ACDS MHSC Working Group on Pipelines.
